Unbelievably Mt. Anthony has won 31 straight state championships and is looking for its 32nd straight state championship. 31 straight is already a national record. The last time a school won a state championship other than Mt. Anthony was Essex in 1988. Mt. Anthony which also won a state championship in 1980 has won a championship every year since 1988. Seniors on that  team are now 50 years old! Think about it!

The only  Rutland area school to win a state championship in wrestling was Otter Valley in 1986. That was the Reagan administration!
